The short version

Mistype Fixer collects no data, because there is nowhere to send it: the app has no servers and requests no network access.

What the app stores

Only settings you choose — hotkey, language, theme, launch at login — on your device. Converted text is processed in memory to retype it and is not written to a log or uploaded anywhere.

What the app never sees

There is no registration, so we hold no phone numbers, emails, names or user identifiers. Keyboard input is used only to detect the hotkey and keep a short last-word buffer for conversion; it never leaves your computer.

Permissions

On macOS the app needs Input Monitoring (to hear the global hotkey) and permission to simulate key presses (to retype the corrected text). Both are processed locally. Denying them means conversion cannot run; the rest of the app still opens. The app does not use the camera, microphone, location or photos.

This website

The site is static, sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party scripts. The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, time) for operational purposes only.
